Important note about Science & Cooking World Congress 2020

Dear ones,

 

Firstly, and most importantly, we hope you and your loved ones are staying well and healthy during this unprecedented time.

 

Once all the data regarding the influence of COVID-19 on the 2020 events have been consulted and despite the enthusiasm and effort already put into the SCWC Barcelona 2020, we are obliged to postpone the Congress.

 

Depending on the evolution of the events, it is planned for November 8, 9 and 10, 2021.

 

We want you to know that this was not an easy decision, but after considering it seriously, we believe that postponing it is the best way to achieve the goals that we wanted for the second edition of Science & Cooking.

 

The title SCWC Barcelona 2021 will become “Sustainability. Research, Economics and Health“. It is established with the aim of linking Congress to society with open workshops and exhibitions, exploring the enormous potential of Scientific Gastronomy to generate a new paradigm that will help to solve the great social challenges.

 

With more strength than ever, from the organization of the Science & Cooking World Congress, we will continue working to make the Science & Cooking a reference in the culinary and scientific world, and at the same time transform Barcelona into the science and the cooking world’s capital.

 

The entire SCWC organization would like to thank you for all the support you have shown and we apologize for any inconvenience. We also hope that we could continue to collaborate soon.
